We provide small-group virtual intervention for the most struggling readers in grades 2-6, including those with indications or characteristics of dyslexia. We serve children between the 1st and 15th percentile … typically "several years behind." We provide "tier 3," special education, and summer instruction to children in partnership with district and charter schools and community organizations. We focus on doing a great job for the small number of students who have very specialized instructional needs. We work with leading academics, building on an under-appreciated vein of NICHD-funded research on effective intervention for students with severe reading difficulties. We're getting results. Our teachers are all certified, with experience teaching structured literacy, and with extensive training and mentoring in our programming.

Reading Futures Remote Intervention Teacher

Our teachers teach virtual small-group sessions during the summer, after school, and during the school day. They teach groups of 3-4 students, using effective programs specially adapted for virtual instruction.

We value teachers who are committed to developing caring relationships with the children they teach, helping them grow and succeed as readers. Our teachers provide weekly updates to school and home stakeholders, building a community of care around each child.

Our community of like-minded teachers care deeply about every child’s success.

Hear What Our Teachers Have to Say About Working With Us

“I worried that teaching in a virtual setting would be a barrier to forming authentic relationships with my students. But that hasn't been the case at all. My students work so hard and I enjoy my time with them so much. I feel so lucky that I get to know them and be part of their learning journey.”
